well, i become quad amputee last year after very long process. i use xylocaine/lydocaine then and my friend helped me. first they amputated my right leg above knee, then left leg above knee and then left arm below elbow. the last operation was so difficult (all was dangerous) but i still manage and they amputated my right arm below elbow also. my stumps are about 5-10cm long and i use nowadays wheelchair for moving. the surgeries were done in India. come and ask me everything! i'm real ;)
I became a successful LAK amputee on sept 28th 2017. I spent 2 weeks recovering in the hospital and am now about to get my first suction socket. I've had two tes belt suspension sockets made before this and it's taken this long for the suction one to be made bc the prosthetics dept waits a year for all the swelling and changes to take place in the stump (just over a year now). The amputation went as planned, but bare in mind that they take more limb off than you might expect because they need good quality skin to use, and also if you get an infection in the wound while healing they'll do another surgery and take it higher up.

I only have 8 1/2 toes now. It's been almost a year since I removed my left pinky toe, completely, no stump. Forgot to log in and tell everyone here. I prefer the complete removal vs leaving a stump. Stump hurt when you stub them, having no stump offers more padding. I hope to have a completely toeless left foot within the next three months. Starting small is wise in my opinion, that way you don't remove more than you would want if you may regret it. I personally don't regret it at all. Other than leaving the stump instead of complete removal of the toe. Only issue is it seems as though I am totally fine, I don't notice the missing toes much. Because of this I am making a bigger leap next time. I want to feel amputated, like noticablely. So I anticipate removing the remaining toes in one sitting next time on my left foot. Once they are all gone, I will notice.,I can then begin the right foots toes. Once all ten vanish, I have some tentative plans after covid to have both feet removed either below knee or through the ankles. I may have found a surgeon to help, he is an amputee, wannabe, and devotee himself. Seems legitimate, but we shall see. He offered free of charge, I just need to pay airfare. In exchange I offered to let him choose something else to amputate, or at a higher level than currently planned. This addition amputation would be a complete mystery to me, I would only know what it was upon waking from surgery. Only things off limits are my eyes, ears, genitals and I must keep my right hand, although he can take some digits if he wishes. I hope this planet realized after the travel bans and covid are lifted an run its course, until then, time to order more lidocaine and work on my toes maybe some fingers.
I have been missing 4 fingers for 15 years but I need to lose my left hand in an "accident". if I had to lose a leg or legs or even the other hand in order to get someone to make it happen I would.
I was able to find someone to chop off the 4 fingers and 4 toes 16 years ago. and then last feb someone wanted to learn how to perform a toe amputation, and I said he could amp as many as he wanted, but he only had time to amp and sew up just a toe tip so toe amp count is now 5 lol
sadly I have yet to find anyone willing to chop or saw off my hand for me in an "accident" and have them sew it up.
I am a 29 year old male who has always been fascinated (since elementary school) with the thought of becoming an amputee. For the longest time, I've always dreamed of loosing my left leg above the knee. I am a musician, so the thought of loosing a hand or an arm could be devastating. If I were to have access to a prosthesis that would allow me to play piano and guitar, I would consider loosing my left arm at the elbow also. I don't think I would ever go through with actualizing this, but I pretend whenever I get the chance. I am not sure why I have this fascination. Although, I probably will never work up the courage to actually become an amputee, sometimes I hope an accident would happen to cause my desired amputations.

ref; I hope an accident would happen to cause my desired amputations
I can relate.... even an intentional accident would work, but you need help to make it safe.
