I've done 2 fingers, left index and left pinky, and 2nd toe left foot, all about 1/2 off.  I have no regrets other than it might have been easier to explain if I had done more at one time.  Coming up with new reasons as to why you have lost more digits is difficult at best so future amps are on hold for now.

I have desires to be a bk, or be amp, but the difficulty in obtaining a more major amp as we all know is difficult, although it can be done.  But this level of amp or higher requires a great deal of thought, since once its gone its gone.  I think for many of us there is a high degree of fantasy involved in our desires, and very few advance beyond this fantasy level.  If given the choice to have something safely removed right now the majority of wannabes I feel (my opinion only) would elect not to, however there is a minority that would.

PS I tried to login under my membership name and password but could not, this is the reason I am anonymous at thsi point.  I can be reached at nowimnubbin@aol.com

Thanks

I am a wannabe. And is an LAK (very short stump) amputee now. My story is long, let me short long here. When I was in elementary school, my mother cut off her left leg because of a car accident. I saw my mother walking on crutches and found that the one-legged woman with crutches was beautiful. I started to pay attention to amputees and pretend. When I was in college, I met my current husband, a devotee. It may have been his influence, I gradually become a wannabe, eager to become an amputee and live. After marriage, we have children soon. Then we went to Cambodia and cut off my left leg. It has been three years since I amputated, and I'm not regretful at all for amputation! I like stump feeling, I think amputation is the best gift in my life! Next steep? Yes! Our goal is DAK, and I prefer DHD.
