I've had my 2018 Giulia for about 18 months now and I'm coming up on my second oil change, but I'm really torn between paying the dealer's premium or finding an independent shop that uses the right spec oil. A buddy sent me www.exoticautoservices.ae/alfa-romeo-giulia-oil-change-abu-dhabi/ and it looks like they offer the exact Selenia oil that Alfa recommends, but I'm always nervous about taking these cars anywhere that isn't the official service center because of the MultiAir system being so picky. Has anyone here gone the independent route for their Giulia and had a good experience, or should I just swallow the cost and stick with the dealer for peace of mind? I don't mind paying a bit extra if it means not messing up the engine, but I also don't want to be ripped off for something as simple as an oil change.
