My name is J. Michael Bailey, a professor of psychology at Northwestern University. 

I am conducting research on the sexuality, identity, gender, and personality of those attracted to amputees/want to become amputees. My hope is that a better understanding of this attraction will lead to greater acceptance and support among the community at large.
