I'm seriously considering switching our entire warehouse over to plastic pallets because the wooden ones are just not surviving the climate here, but I've got a nagging concern that's been bothering me. A colleague mentioned that plastic can get brittle and crack in extreme heat, which would obviously be a disaster if it happens while we're moving heavy loads around the warehouse. I've been doing some research and found what looks like a Quality Plastic Pallets manufacturer in UAE that supposedly uses UV-stabilized materials designed specifically for our region. The product descriptions talk about high-density polyethylene construction and temperature resistance, which sounds promising, but I'm still skeptical because marketing claims don't always match reality. We store a lot of canned goods and beverages, so a pallet failure could mean thousands of dirhams worth of damaged products and a huge mess to clean up. Has anyone here actually used plastic pallets through a full summer in the UAE without them getting brittle or deforming? How many summers have you gotten out of them before noticing any degradation? I really want to make the eco-friendly and reusable choice but I can't afford to compromise on safety and reliability just to feel good about reducing our environmental impact.
