Has anyone had results in finding doctors outside of the United States willing to perform voluntary amputations?

I have also been in the search, it is very hard. I think as a community we need to help each other find information and resources.

Sure, we need to help each others, society doesn't do for us. Each one has information or experience that would help each others .

i share your wishes. I too am a DAK wannabe and would love to find a surgeon in USA or else where that would do it. I have tried sitting on leg for hours so that it would die, but to no avail. Heard tieing a tornequet on upper thigh for 24 hours would kill leg, but not sure that will work. Any ideas or thoughts?

I heard this from others. Very hurting. Most people cannot bear it for above 2 hours.

people use dry ice for 5 hours....  the only thing you get from cutting off the circulation, without removing the limb, is blood clots that can kill you.   chance at losing a limb from a blood clot is 1 in 2000.   chance of death is about 50/50
